30 Store Cupboard Suppers

6

Stand-by suppers are a cook's best friend. We've all been there, not enough time to nip to the shops, the fridge looking a little on the sparse side, but you are still craving a satisfying dish that's not going to take the next hour to make.

Turn to your store cupboard and with a couple of tins, jars of handy sauces, such as new Patak’s stir fry sauces, and clever spicing, you can have a hearty, filling meal. The freezer should not be forgotten either, crammed full of vegetables like frozen peas that are preserved at their very best in the cold.

The best bit? These non-perishables will keep in your cupboard or freezer for months. Just add a few of your favourite vegetables, and some meat or fish if you want to, to make these speedy dishes your new favourite ready-in-a-flash recipes.
