Juliet Sear is one of the UK's leading cake designers and runs a successful contemporary cake boutique, Fancy Nancy, in the heart of Essex.
She has over 10 years experience of baking and uses her honed technical skills with her creative and contemporary design flare to create innovative, interesting and on trend cakes, cookies, cake pops and cupcakes.
Over the years she has made cakes for thousands of people including celebrities like Dizzee Rascal, Fearne Cotton, Holly Willoughby, McFly, Bryan Adams, Eamonn Holmes, Sir Ian McKellen and many others.
Her designs regularly appear in the national glossy magazines including Eve, Red, Perfect Wedding, OK!, Cosmo Brides, Time Out and many more. Her cake designs have also appeared on TV programmes for Channel 4, BBC, ITV and Sky.
As well as running her own boutique bakery, Juliet is also expanding her Fancy Nancy brand into a mini-bakery in Harvey Nichols, Knightsbridge set for an Autumn 2011 launch. She is also set to supply another store in Essex as part of an exciting and secretive TV project.
Juliet is often asked to deliver master classes and undertakes demonstrations where she shares her passion and creative flare for baking and decorating.
This year has already seen Juliet host demonstrations for one of the UK’s biggest exhibitions ‘The Ideal Home Show’, she has been confirmed as a key speaker and celebrity face for the launch of ‘The Cake and Bake Show’.

On top of all this Juliet has been signed to Ebury and is writing her first book which will be a master class for budding cake decorators. Out in early summer 2012, the book is aimed at new bakers who previously have not tried baking and those more experienced who want to bring their own techniques and designs up to date.
