Lyle's® Killer Chocolate Icing
- 100g plain chocolate, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp Lyle's Golden Syrup®
- 25g unsalted butter at room temperature
Serves: Enough for 12 fairy cakes
Melt the chocolate in a glass bowl over a pan of simmering water.
When the chocolate is thoroughly melted, add the Lyle's Golden Syrup® and the butter. Combine thoroughly and remove from the heat. Leave to cool, stirring occasionally until the mixture reaches the right consistency for soft icing. If it thickens up too much, gently warm it through again.
Use an icing bag with a large nozzle to pipe the icing onto each fairy cake.
