These savoury palmiers are quick to make and are great for parties.
- 300g green olives
- 1 clove of garlic
- 200g soft young goat's cheese
- 30 basil leaves
- 2 sheets shop-bought puff pastry
Blitz the green olives with the garlic clove.
Unfold the pastry, spread with the olive paste, then dot with cheese and scatter with basil leaves.
Fold the two long sides into the middle then fold in half again, slice into 1cm thick slices then place on a non-stick baking tray. Bake at 220°C for 8-10 minutes until golden brown
