Margarita ice cream
Perk up plain old ice cream with all the flavours of a classic margarita.
- 110ml lime juice
- 2 tbsp tequila
- 3 tbsp orange liqueur, such as Cointreau or Triple Sec
- 280g powdered sugar
- 450ml double cream
2) Add the cream and then softly whip until thick and smooth but not stiff. Spoon into an airtight container to freeze overnight.
3) This ice cream does not need ripening (softening before serving), as it will not freeze too hard and melts speedily and voluptuously.
