10-Minute Apple Sauce

  • 3 Golden Delicious apples, peeled, cored, and quartered
  • 3 Fuji apples, peeled, cored, and quartered
  • 240ml unfiltered apple juice
  • 30ml cognac or brandy
  • 30g tablespoons butter
  • 60g tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1) In a sealable microwave-safe container, combine apples with all other ingredients. Close lid, leaving one corner of lid open to allow steam to escape.

2) Microwave on high for 10 mins.

3) Using a hand blender or potato masher, blend to desired consistency.

4) Serve hot immediately or chill for later use.
