  • 1.35kg apples of choice (about 9 apples)
  • 10 large frozen strawberries
  • 70g granulated sugar
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 60ml water
  • 1/8 tsp allspice

How to make Applesauce with strawberries

1) Peel, core and slice apples 1/2cm thick. Place apple slices in a large saucepan. Add remaining ingredients and simmer until a sauce consistency, about 45 mins. Use a potato masher, if necessary, to break up any lumps, but leave slightly chunky.
