  • 300g glutinous rice, rinsed
  • 530ml water

Method

How to make Basic glutinous rice

1) Heat a pan, add the rice and water, cover, and cook over high heat for 15 minutes.

2) Reduce the heat to very low, and cook for an additional three minutes, making sure all the water has evaporated. Remove from the heat and, using a spatula, fluff the rice. It is now ready to serve.
