Method
How to make Blue Cheese Date Wraps
- Slice each bacon strip into thirds.
- Place the bacon strips onto a baking sheet then bake at 350 degrees F until just partially cooked but not crisp (or you may fry the strips in a skillet) remove and place onto paper towels to drain.
- Carefully cut a slit in the center of each date then fill with blue cheese.
- Wrap a piece of bacon around each stuffed date.
- Secure with a wooden toothpick (do not use colored toothpicks for this).
- Place onto a baking sheet.
- bake at 375 degrees F for about 10 minutes or until the bacon is crisp.
