Bourbon cider mop sauce

  • 75g (3/4 stick) salted butter
  • 375ml apple cider
  • 75ml brown granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 125ml bourbon

How to make Bourbon cider mop sauce

1) Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the cider, caster sugar and pepper to bring to a boil.

2) Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the bourbon. correct the seasoning, adding salt, to taste.
