Ingredients

  • 450g carrots, peeled and grated
  • 475ml milk
  • 45g ricotta cheese
  • 40g honey
  • 40g sultanas
  • 20g chopped pistachios
  • 1 tsp ground cardamom
  • Pinch of ground cloves

Method

How to make Carrot halva

1) Put all the ingredients into a large saucepan and bring to a boil over a medium heat.

2) Reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the carrots are soft and the mixture has thickened, about 15 to 18 minutes. Serve warm.
