Ingredients

  • 1 bag chai tea
  • 240ml hot water
  • 90ml milk
  • 30ml bourbon
  • 10ml amaretto (an almond-flavoured liqueur)
  • 10ml Grand Marnier (an orange-flavoured liqueur)
  • Lemon wedge
  • 3 whole cloves

Method

How to make Chai yai yai

1) Brew tea in 240ml of hot water for three to four mins.Remove tea bag.

2) In a saucepan, combine the tea mixture and milk and simmer, stirring occasionally.

3) Pour into a coffee mug. Add bourbon, amaretto and Grand Marnier. Stir briefly.

4) Stud lemon wedge with the cloves and add to mixture.
