  • 9 cups Corn Chex
  • 9 cups Rice Chex
  • 9 cups Wheat Chex
  • 9 cups Chocolate Chex
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 0.50 cup peanut butter
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 0.25 cup margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1.50 cups powdered sugar

How to make Chex Muddy Buddies

  • Into large bowl, measure cereal; set aside.
  • In 1-quart microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter uncovered on High 1 minute; stir. Microwave about 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in vanilla. Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly
  • Add powdered sugar. Seal bag; shake until well coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
  • High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): No change.
