  • 28 ounces kidney bean
  • 1 tablespoon chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes

Method

How to make Chili Con Carne

  • In a saucepan, cook until evenly browned, beef, onions and green peppers.
  • Stir in rest of ingredients. Bring to a boil, cover. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
  • Remove bay leaf.
  • Serve with hot rolls, and a salad.
