Chipotle Beef Burgers

Smother these cheesy burgers in Tabasco<span class="trademark">&reg;</span> Chipotle Sauce
  • For the burgers
  • 500g beef mince
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp gherkins, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp capers, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp Tabasco® Chipotle sauce
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 4 slices cheese, to serve
  • 1 Tomato, sliced, to serve
  • 1/2 red onion, sliced
  • Lettuce, to serve

Mix all the burger ingredients together and form into 4 patties. Cook over a medium heat for 8-10 minutes or cooked to your liking.

Place one slice of cheese on top and leave to melt for 30 seconds.

Serve in toasted ciabatta bun with lettuce, tomato and sliced red onion. Top with extra Tabasco® Chipotle to taste.
