Chocolate Espresso Cups

This chocolate and coffee mix is the perfect combionation of bitter and sweet.
  • 1-litre and 190ml whole milk
  • 120ml espresso
  • 230g dark chocolate, chopped into small pieces
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence

Heat the milk in a medium saucepan over high heat until hot, but not boiling.

Reduce the heat to very low and add the espresso, chocolate, sugar, and vanilla. Using a whisk, stir the mixture until the chocolate has melted. Continue to whisk the chocolate mixture until frothy every few minutes for about eight minutes, until the chocolate has completely dissolved into the milk.

Pour into mugs and serve immediately.
