2) Whip whites and sugar together in a large mixing bowl with an electric mixer, until thick.
3) Sift together cocoa and icing sugar. Fold the dry ingredients into the meringue, and then fold in the cocoa nibs.
4) Spread the chocolate meringue onto the prepared tray in a layer about 1/2 cm thick.
3) Bake for about 1 hour or until the meringue is hard and completely dried out.
