Place all the dry ingredients into a bowl and make a well in the centre, add the oil and three quarters of the water and mix it in and mix to a soft dough, add a little more water if need be, if it is too wet add a small amount of flour. Knead the dough for about 15 minutes, until it is smooth and elastic to the touch.
Place the dough back into the bowl and oil the top, cover with a clean cloth and place it in a warm place to rise to twice it's size. Pre-heat the oven to 180°C, divide the dough into 12 balls. Roll 6 of the balls out into rounds the size of a side plate. Roll the other 6 balls into sausages and place along the edge of the side-plate sized rounds to create a rim. Allow to rise to twice its size and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cooked.
