Ingredients
- 360g old-fashioned oats, not instant
- 75g flaked almonds
- 75g sultanas
- 2 tbsp dark unsulphered treacle
- 120ml maple syrup, good quality
- 120ml vegetable oil
- 3 tsp finely minced rosemary leaves
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
- 150g dried cranberries
- Nonstick cooking spray
Method
How to make Ferndale granola
1) Preheat the oven to 180C/Gas 4. Lightly grease a sheet pan with nonstick spray, or line with greaseproof paper.
2) In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients, except the cranberries, stirring well to combine.
3) Spread the mixture evenly on the sheet pan and place in the oven. Bake for 20 minutes, stirring every 7 minutes.
4) Leave to cool on the rack and add the dried cranberries. When completely cool, store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
