Ingredients
For the fresh lime daiquiri:
- 500ml dark rum
- 375ml freshly squeezed lime juice
- 185ml sugar syrup, recipe follows
For the sugar syrup:
- 250ml water
- 200g caster sugar
Method
How to make Fresh lime daiquiri
For the daiquiri:
1) Combine the rum, lime juice and syrup. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice and fill two-thirds full with the cocktail mixture.
2) Shake for 30 seconds and pour into frosted martini glasses. Serve ice cold.
For the sugar syrup:
1) Combine sugar and water in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer until all the sugar is dissolved. Chill.
