Ingredients
- 150g carrots, sliced
- 6 habanero peppers, seeds removed and sliced (about 200g)
- 10g butter
- 5g chopped garlic
- 30ml apple cider vinegar
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 250ml water
Method
How to make Habanero sauce
1) In a food processor, finely chop the carrots and habanero peppers.
2) In a small saucepan heat the butter and add the chopped garlic. Add the carrot and habanero mixture and saute until carrots are soft.
3) While stirring, add the apple cider vinegar and salt and pepper, to taste. Add the water and simmer until mixture is thick enough for spreading.
