Ingredients
- 900ml whole milk
- 900ml double cream
- 500g white chocolate, chopped
- 2 tsp pure vanilla essence
- Seeds scraped from 2 vanilla pods
- 55 to 75ml orange flavored liqueur (recommended: Grand Marnier)
Method
How to make Holiday Hot Chocolate
1) In a saucepan on medium heat, heat the milk and cream to just below the simmering point.
2) Remove the pan from the heat and add the white chocolate. When the chocolate is melted, add the vanilla, vanilla pod seeds, and 55 to 75ml orange liqueur, according to taste, and whisk vigorously. Reheat very gently and serve.
