Honey vanilla fromage blanc
Ingredients
- 900ml fromage blanc
- 60ml double cream
- 125ml good honey
- 4 tsp pure vanilla essence
- 1/2 tsp freshly grated lemon rind
- Vanilla seeds scraped from 1 vanilla pod
- A selection of soft fruits, to serve
- Raspberry sauce, to serve
Method
How to make Honey vanilla fromage blanc
1) In a large bowl stir the fromage blanc, cream, honey, vanilla essence, lemon zest and vanilla seeds together. Refrigerate until ready to use.
2) To assemble, spoon the fromage blanc mixture into shallow bowls. Place the fruit artfully on top and drizzle the dessert with raspberry sauce. Serve with extra raspberry sauce on the side – I find that some people like it less sweet with just a drizzle of sauce while others prefer more sauce.
