Iceberg lettuce with Russian dressing

  • 1 large head iceberg lettuce cut into 6 wedges
  • For the Russian dressing
  • 150ml mayonnaise
  • 75ml tomato ketchup
  • 4 tbsp dill pickle relish
  • 1/2 small onion, peeled
  • Salt and ground black pepper
  • Fresh chopped dill, for garnish
1) Arrange the lettuce wedges on a serving platter.

2) To make the Russian dressing: In a bowl combine the mayonnaise with tomato ketchup and relish. Grate in about 3 tablespoons of onion and juice. Season with salt and pepper.

3) Pour the thick dressing over the lettuce wedges and garnish with chopped dill. Serve at once
