Iceberg lettuce with Russian dressing
Ingredients
- 1 large head iceberg lettuce cut into 6 wedges
For the Russian dressing:
- 150ml mayonnaise
- 75ml tomato tomato ketchup
- 4 tbsp dill pickle relish
- 1/2 small onion, peeled
- Salt and ground black pepper
- Fresh chopped dill, for garnish
Method
How to make Iceberg lettuce with Russian dressing
1) Arrange the lettuce wedges on a serving platter.
2) To make the Russian dressing: In a bowl combine the mayonnaise with tomato ketchup and relish. Grate in about 3 tablespoons of onion and juice. Season with salt and pepper.
3) Pour the thick dressing over the lettuce wedges and garnish with chopped dill. Serve at once
