Iceberg salad with prawns
Ingredients
- 1 head iceberg lettuce
- 125ml prepared cocktail sauce
- 125ml mayonnaise
- Few drops Tabasco sauce
- 1 lemon, juiced plus 2 tsps zest
- 325g small peeled cooked prawns
- Salt and ground blackpepper
- 2-3 tbsps chopped fresh chives
Method
How to make Iceberg salad with prawns
1)Slam the core of the head of lettuce on the counter then twist and remove it. Quarter the head of lettuce lengthwise.
2)In a bowl combine the cocktail sauce, mayonnaise, tabasco, lemon juice and zest. Stir the prawns into the mixture and spoon it evenly down over the lettuce quarters. Season salad the salad with a little salt and pepper and scatter chives over the salad.
Serve.
