Ingredients

  • 8 bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
  • 225g spicy sausages, cut into 5cm pieces
  • 1 red pepper, cored and cut into 2cm squares
  • 115g pancetta, cubed
  • 100g pineapple cubes, fresh or canned

Method

How to make Italian breakfast skewers

1) Preheat the oven to 190°C/ gas mark 5.

2) Thread the skewers with the sausages, pepper, pancetta and pineapple alternating so that each one has two pieces of each ingredient.

3) Arrange on a baking sheet and bake in the oven until golden brown on the edges and the pancetta is cooked through, about 25 minutes. Serve warm.
