Ingredients

  • 1 (410g) can cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
  • 3 tbsp tahini paste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 sprigs rosemary leaves finely chopped
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 crusty baguette sliced and toasted to serve

How to make Italian hummus

1) Place the beans in the food processor with the tahini, garlic, rosemary and lemon juice. Turn on the processor and stream in the olive oil. When smooth season to taste with salt and transfer to a small serving bowl. Serve with toast.
