- 16 jalapeno peppers
- 300g tub soft cream cheese at room temperature
- 16 large cooked prawns, peeled and chopped
- 250g sliced prosciutto
- 16 toothpicks
Method
How to make Jalapeno wrapped prawns
1) Preheat the barbecue to medium high. Cut the peppers in half and remove the seeds.
2) In a bowl combine the cream cheese and the chopped prawns and fill the cavity of the peppers loosely with the mixture.
3) Wrap the peppers with prosciutto and insert a cocktail stick to hold together. Cook on the barbecue until done, about 5 minutes.
