  • 1.5L water
  • 225g sugar
  • 6 tea bags
  • Crushed ice
  • 1 bunch mint
  • 6 shots bourbon whisky

Method

How to make Julip sweet tea

1) Bring the water to a boil. Once water is boiling, remove the pan from the heat, add the sugar and six tea bags, and allow to steep.

2) Fill each glass with crushed ice to the top and stuff with mint sprigs. Pour in a shot of bourbon whisky, fill glass with tea and serve.
