- 350g cooked jasmine rice
- 115g ground pork
- 1/2 tsp white pepper powder
- 2 tbsp thin soy sauce
- Salt to taste
- 175g finely sliced fresh ginger
- 3 spring onions
- 950ml pork or chicken stock
- Spring onion, shallots and coriander for garnishing

How to make Khao Tom (Thai Pork Porridge)
Prepare a traditional stock using bullion cubes or pork bones. Mix ground pork with soy sauce, salt and pepper. Shape the pork into small balls and put into the simmering stock. Ladle cooked rice into the soup and cook until it reaches the consistency you desire. Ladle rice porridge into a bowl, top with scallion, shallots and cilantro.
