Orange yoghurt
Ingredients
- 1L plain low-fat yoghurt
- 35g sultanas
- 30g chopped walnuts
- 1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla essence
- 75g good honey
- 1 orange, zest grated
- 120 to 240ml freshly squeezed orange juice
- Orange, orange zest, sultanas and walnuts, for garnish (optional)
Method
How to make Orange yoghurt
1) Line a sieve with cheesecloth or kitchen towels and suspend it over a bowl. Pour the yoghurt into the sieve and allow it to drain, refrigerated, for 3 hours or overnight.
2) Place the thickened yoghurt into a medium bowl and stir in the sultanas, walnuts, vanilla, honey and orange zest. Thin with orange juice until it is a desirable consistency. Garnish with sections of orange, orange zest, sultanas or walnuts and serve.
