- 1 head cabbage
- 0.50 sugar
- 4 spring onion
- 0.75 white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon dry mustard
- 1 tablespoon celery seeds
- 0.75 oil
- 1.50 teaspoons salt
How to make Overnight Cabbage Salad
- Shred the cabbage and place in bowl. Sprinkle with sliced green onion. Then sprinkle with 1/2 c sugar.
- In a saucepan mix vinegar, 1 tbsp sugar, salt, celery seed and mustard; bring to boil; add oil.
- Pour over cabbage. DO NOT STIR.
- Put in refrigerator overnight.
