Panettone Trifle
Ingredients
- 450g mascarpone cheese, at room temperature
- Chocolate shavings, for garnish
- 350g panettone, cut into cubes
- 60ml coffee liqueur
- 2 teaspoons espresso coffee powder
- 50g icing sugar
- 225g good quality dark chocolate, melted over a very low heat and left to cool
- For Equipment:
- Chopping board
- Cooks knife
- Electric mixer
- Medium bowl
Method
How to make Panettone Trifle
Divide half the panettone cubes between six old-fashioned pudding glasses or wine glasses. Sprinkle half of the liqueur over the panettone and top with half the mascarpone mixture. Repeat layering with the remaining panettone, liqueur, and mascarpone mixt
Using an electric mixer, beat the mascarpone cheese, chocolate, icing sugar and espresso powder in a large bowl until smooth and fluffy.
