Pear Gorgonzola tart
This delicious tart of cheese, pear and prosciutto is effortless and elegant.
1) Combine the cream cheese, Gorgonzola, thyme, salt, and pepper in a medium-sized bowl. Using a hand blender, whip the cheeses together.
2) In a large, heavy frying pan, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the pears and cook until golden on both sides, about 5 mins.
3) Gently spread the whipped cheese mixture evenly over the bottom of the pastry case. Place the pear slices in a decorative pattern over the cheese mixture.
4) Sprinkle the thin strips of prosciutto over the pears. Cut into wedges and serve cold.
