For the lemonade:
1) In a small saucepan, bring water and sugar to a simmer. Cook until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool.
2) Fill a large pitcher with ice. Stir in sugar/water syrup, vodka, juice, lemon and lime slices. Serve immediately
*for kid-friendly version, omit alcohol.
For the vanilla-infused vodka:
1) Split beans lengthwise and add to vodka bottle. Let infuse overnight in a cool dark place. Strain into another sterilised bottle.
