Ingredients
- 60ml bourbon whiskey
- 30ml fresh lemon juice
- 15ml simple syrup or agave syrup
- 1 tsp egg white
- Crushed ice
- 1/4 tsp hot sauce
- Orange slice and halved serrano chilli pepper, for garnish
Method
How to make Whiskey hot and sour
Pour the bourbon, lemon juice, syrup and egg white into a cocktail shaker and shake well so the egg white can emulsify. Add crushed ice and hot sauce, continue shaking to chill.
Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with a slice of orange and a chilli half.
